Frequently Asked Questions
Is EmoteResizer really free?
Yes, 100% free. There are no hidden fees, no account required, and no watermarks on your resized images. We believe every streamer β whether you have 5 viewers or 5,000 β deserves access to quality tools.
Are my images stored on your servers?
No. All image processing happens entirely in your browser. Your emotes, badges, and banners never leave your device. We don't upload, store, or have access to any of the images you process.
Which platforms do you support?
We currently support Twitch emotes, Twitch GIF emotes, Twitch badges, Discord emotes, Discord banners, Slack emoji, Kick emotes, and YouTube emoji. We're always exploring new platforms to add.
My resized emote is blurry. What can I do?
Start with the highest resolution source image you have. Resizing works best when scaling down from a larger image rather than scaling up a small one. For Twitch emotes, we recommend starting with an image that is at least 112x112 pixels. For best results, use a source image of 512x512 or larger.
My GIF emote exceeds the file size limit. How can I fix it?
Our GIF emote resizer includes automatic compression, but if your animated emote is still too large, try reducing the number of frames, shortening the animation, or using simpler colors. GIFs with fewer distinct colors compress more efficiently.
Can I resize multiple emotes at once?
Yes! Our tools support batch processing β you can upload and resize up to 5 emotes simultaneously. All resized versions can be downloaded together in a single ZIP file, saving you time when updating your channel.
