Discord Sticker File Size Limit

Discord requires all custom stickers to be under 500KB in file size. This can be challenging for detailed images or those with many colors. Our Discord sticker resizer uses advanced PNG compression (UPNG) to meet the 500KB limit while preserving visual quality. If PNG compression isn't enough, we'll automatically convert to optimized JPEG as a fallback.

How to Upload Custom Stickers to Discord

After resizing your sticker with our tool, open Discord and go to your server settings. Navigate to 'Stickers' in the sidebar, then click 'Upload Sticker'. Select your resized 320×320 image, give it a name and a related emoji, then click save. You need the 'Manage Expressions' permission to upload custom stickers.

Discord Sticker Slots by Boost Level

The number of custom sticker slots depends on your server's boost level: Level 0 gets 5 sticker slots, Level 1 gets 15 slots, Level 2 gets 30 slots, and Level 3 gets 60 slots. Each sticker must be exactly 320×320 pixels and under 500KB. Discord supports PNG for static stickers and APNG or Lottie for animated stickers.
